Substantive discovery motions between parties are Stricken; do not file. Thursday discovery calendar only (10:00 a.m.--3:00 p.m., Courtroom 5, James Lawrence King Federal Justice Building). Process: (1) Confer -- personal communication required; un-responded emails insufficient; issue deemed waived on noncompliance; (2) contact Chambers at (305) 523-5750 by noon on the Friday preceding the calendar; (3) file Motion for Hearing same day Chambers confirms time, with L.R. 7.1(a)(3) certificate; (4) email source materials to torres@flsd.uscourts.gov by noon on the Monday preceding the hearing. Argument: ordinarily <=30 minutes per side. 28-day L.R. 26.1(g)(2) window strictly enforced; seven-day agreed extension only; unapproved extensions not recognized. Blanket stay motions are not discovery motions and go to the District Judge.
